The right size is key for a silver ring to feel comfortable and stay on your finger. You can measure it at home in a few minutes.
Method 1: string or a strip of paper
- Wrap a string or a narrow strip of paper around the finger you will wear the ring on.
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length in millimetres with a ruler – this is your finger circumference.
- Compare it with the size chart on our Jewellery care and sizes page.
Method 2: a ring you already own
Measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits you well (in millimetres) and find the matching size in the chart.
Tips for accurate measuring
- Measure in the evening, when fingers are largest.
- Don't measure with cold hands – fingers are smaller then.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one.
- Wide rings usually need half a size larger.
